On January 16, we honor Elijah Silvera Day, and we also celebrate what would be our son Elijah’s 12th birthday. It is a day rooted in love, kindness, and community. A day that reminds us to protect one another, show up for each other, and turn love into action.

As Elijah’s parents and as co-founders of the Elijah-Alavi Foundation, we have seen how powerful this community is. Families, friends, advocates, and partners across the country continue to lift one another up and help keep children safer through education, awareness, and compassion. This year, on January 16, 2026, we have something very special to share with you. A moment. A message. A movement. All driven by Elijah’s Echo and the love that continues to surround him.
