On Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at PS/MS 34, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Rho Epsilon Sigma Chapter @nycsigmas & The Elijah-Alavi Foundation partnered and co-supported the Why Not Care https://www.whynotcaremore.org 5th Annual United Festival event which was an amazing community engagement.
The event provided 3 distribution sites in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan's community with tons of resources from school backpacks, school supplies, free family resources, PPEs and many more giveaways. My foundation, Elijah-Alavi Foundation, in collaboration with my fraternity chapter, Rho Epsilon Sigma (NYCSIGMAS) , provided food allergy education and resources along with giveaways provided by Enjoy Life Foods Pracmedic Bags at the event.
