Giving Tuesday is not just another date on the calendar. It is a moment when people choose to give from the heart, to stand with organizations whose work protects, uplifts, and creates lasting change. For us, that mission is deeply personal.

For seven years, we have operated as a true grassroots organization, building change from the ground up. With limited resources but unwavering determination, we have thousands of educators, educated communities, supported families, and combine collaborative efforts that have reshaped safety standards across the country. Our work has already saved lives, and not only children. One educator’s life was saved because the eductors had been trained and knew exactly what to do when experienced a severe allergic reaction. That is what real impact looks like.

The need for this work remains urgent. Anaphylaxis is a fast and potentially fatal allergic reaction that demands immediate treatment with epinephrine. Yet many early learning environments are still not equipped to respond. Nearly one in ten allergic reactions occur in childcare or school settings, and close to a third involve children with no known allergies or situations where the allergy was not communicated to staff. Our most vulnerable population, young children in childcare, rely on adults who must be prepared before an emergency occurs.

Your support makes this possible.It strengthens our legislative work, expands our reach into underserved communities, and allows us to continue providing hands-on, lifesaving training in early childhood programs. It also fuels one of our most visionary initiatives, the Differently Like Me program, a project based learning model that builds empathy, understanding, and safety awareness in young children while teaching staff how to manage allergicconditions, and individual needs. What we do in childcare extends far beyond the classroom. It creates safer communities, confident educators, empowered families, and help them teach children to advocate for themselves.
